This is Keri's fourth year serving on the Darby Avenue Elementary PTA Board. Her background includes writing and video production. In her spare time, Keri loves watching old movies and going out for ice cream with her husband and three children.

Diana is honored to return and serve as the VP of Ways & Means for the 2025–2026 school year. She is a proud mom of a 3rd grader, Arya Gonzalez, and is passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for students and families.  Outside of PTA, Diana has over 20 years of leadership and volunteer experience, from organizing fundraisers for causes like St. Jude’s Hospital to mentoring and coaching teens and adults. She believes in giving back, building connections, and working together to make a positive difference for our community.

Matilda Herbster has been a parent and volunteer at Darby for 3 years, having most recently served as Room Parent Coordinator and room parent this past school year. As the 2024/2025 school year commences, she’s excited to serve on the PTA board as Recording Secretary. She received her degree and teaching credential in Elementary Education from Cal State Northridge. Married to the Jenny to her Forrest, Michael, for over a decade, she loves spending time with their children Marcie & Mikey and the four-legged children Max (Canine American) and Memow (Felonious Feline). When she’s not working or volunteering (or parenting) you will probably find her listening to her favorite music & podcast or annihilating competitors in rounds of Tetris.

Iliana is new member to the PTA board and excited to be serving as Treasurer.  She has 3 children, two of which are current students at Darby and a future Darby Dolphin.  Iliana graduated from CSUN and earned a Bachelors Degree in Finance.  On her free time she enjoys sewing and spending time with her family.  She especially enjoys watching her daughters practice and play basketball. 

Christine is new to the PTA board and is also serving as a first time room parent this year. Mother to two wonderful Darby girls and wife of a Darby alum. “Volunteering makes my girls smile and my heart sings.”

Cindy T is a Trojan with a Master's degree in Musicology. She loves and serves the PTA because wherever kids are exploring their creativity and having fun , well that's where she wants to be, too!!

Nadisha has been an active member of the PTA for 4 years now. She has a BA from CSUN and worked in child development/early education for 10+ years.  She is the proud mom of three, Caden (5th grader), Ella (2nd grader) and future dolphin Tyler.

Jennifer has been a parent at Darby for three years now and is excited to be the chair for their PTA’s Social Media. She received her degree from CSU Northridge in Child and Adolescent Development. In her spare time she enjoys walks at botanical gardens with her two boys and husband, going on road trips, and arts & crafts.
