Diana Diaz
President
Diana is honored to serve as PTA President for the 2026–2027 school year and is proud to be entering her third year serving on the PTA board. She is the mom of Arya Gonzalez, a fourth grader at Darby.
At the heart of Diana’s involvement is a love for children and a desire to help create a school community where every child feels welcomed, supported, and connected. Having seen firsthand the positive impact that school involvement and memorable experiences have had on her own children, she is passionate about giving her time to help create those same opportunities for others.

Claudia Parada
Recording Secretary
Claudia is excited to serve as PTA Secretary this year after having so much fun as a room parent last year! She is a proud mom of two. Her daughter is heading into 1st grade, and her son is an incoming UTK student at Darby. Between dance, gymnastics, sports, and everyday family adventures, there is never a dull moment! As a family, they love exploring new places, trying new activities, and making lots of fun memories along the way.
Outside of PTA, Claudia works in Continuing Medical Education, where she puts her love of organization, communication, and bringing people together to good use. She is excited to stay involved, connect with more Darby families, and help make this school year a fun and memorable one for everyone!

Kate Fergusson
VP Ways & Means
Kate is thrilled to serve as VP of Ways & Means for the 2026–2027 school year. She is the proud mom of first grader Archie Anderson and loves being part of the Darby community.
Outside of Darby, Kate works in philanthropy, supporting efforts to improve the health and well-being of communities across California. She brings that same belief in the power of strong, connected communities to her role at Darby.
Kate feels incredibly lucky that her family gets to be part of Darby and wants to give back to a school that already means so much to them. She’s especially excited to use fundraising as a way to bring parents and families closer together, make it easy (and fun!) for people to get involved, and create more of those moments that make Darby feel like a community.

Priscilla Padilla

Priscilla is excited to join the PTA Board for her first year as Room Parent Coordinator. She is the proud mom of Leo, 6, who will be entering Kindergarten this year, and proud stepmom to RJ, 20, and Suri, 17.
Priscilla earned her BA from Mount St. Mary’s University and brings 20 years of professional experience in travel, account management, and hospitality. She loves creating meaningful experiences and connections both personally and professionally.
Outside of work and PTA, Priscilla enjoys traveling with her family and making lasting memories together. She is looking forward to building strong engagement and connection across our classrooms and helping create a fun, welcoming, and supportive school community for all of our families.

Crystal Lorio

Crystal is a mom of two and a firm believer that school should be just as much about building community and making memories as it is about learning.
When she's not working or volunteering, she's usually immersed in her latest hobby - gardening, crafting, reading, painting, or DIY projects. She loves bringing big ideas (and extra fun) to school events and is always up for finding new ways to make the Darby community feel even more connected.
